Lego + 10.  We were trying these out here at the Nanjing International School.  It seems the sets are versatile like lego, but of course, you need tools to put them together.  Also, because the instructions are not always super clear, there is greater thinking and problem-solving involved.

These are some simple tricks that I would like to come back to.  I especially like #6, the do-it-yourself tripod, and #7, the underwater housing.  Not sure about with waves.
