Maslow (1943) argued food was a basic physiological need.  With that said, why not take the experience beyond need to ecstacy and enjoy the best foods and dining experiences the world has to offer?  The link takes you to theworldsbest.com’s top 50 choices.  I have never been to any to confirm how good they are, but I am salivating reading the articles, looking at the pictures, and thinking about the chance.

Eight simple rules from business expert Conor Neill.”  See if you can have the meeting from the confines of your home or place of liesure via Skype, Adobe Connect or some other tech enabling conference area.  I’ve also heard, have the meeting standing in a hall and make it no more than 5 minutes.  Then things will get done.  Here’s to less meetings.

Shooting Vertical Video on a Smartphone? You’re Doing It Wrong [PSA]

“If you spend a lot of time on YouTube, you likely know this sinking feeling — when you click on an amateur video with an interesting title, only to find the videographer has held his smartphone vertically instead of horizontally.”  I have put many of my viewing audience through some of these videos.  I apologize.  With my new enlightenment I shall never do this again.  I will also try to educate others not to do this as well.  You can too, now that you know…and knowing is half the battle.

Google Sites have made great templates or teachers

How cool has Google Sites become with the templates for teachers?  Just open it up and everything is there: Home, Homework, Announcements, Class Calendar, Reading List, Links, Class Photos, Forms and Docs, and more…Too bad this seems to be blocked in Turkey for some reason.  Guess we will model our school sites after these.
